Why I'm running
I'm running this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.

In September 2024 I was bitten by a snake while out on a running track several kilometres from my mining camp in the Eastern Pilbara. My colleagues got me packaged up and in under 3 hours I was airborne enroute to South Hedland Hospital for further treatment. For years I had been wheeling stretchers across the tarmac to get sick patients evacuated to the care they needed, now I was getting a front row seat. The care was shown by these quiet professionals will never be forgotten, and hopefully we can use Oceans to Outback to give a little back. I don't think I've ever run 100 km in a month in my whole life, but I'll be pushing through for this cause.
So far this year
