We're fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

Liontown Limited is a proud Corporate Partner of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS). We operate the Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation in the Northern Goldfields of Western Australia, a long way from the nearest hospital, where the RFDS is a vital part of how we keep our people safe.

For our workforce and for communities across regional and remote Western Australia, the RFDS means help is never out of reach. Every two minutes, someone in Australia needs the Flying Doctor, and their teams fly more than 112,000 people to medical care each year across vast distances.

At Kathleen Valley, our site medical team is central to keeping everyone safe. They work closely with the RFDS on patient retrievals for our people and for members of the public who need urgent care in the region. Knowing that the RFDS is only ever a call away gives our people and their families real peace of mind.

Last year, more than 80 Liontown team members across Kathleen Valley and our Perth office took part in the Oceans to Outback Challenge. Walking, running and cycling through October 2025, we clocked up more than 8,800 kilometres and raised more than $31,000, taking first place nationally on the workplace fundraising leaderboard.
