Why I'm walking
I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.
Donate now >>I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
I grew up in regional Australia, so I know what distance really means when someone needs help. The nearest hospital can be hundreds of kilometres away, and the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is often the difference between help arriving and help being out of reach.
This one is personal for me. In recent years my own family has needed the RFDS, and I know exactly what it means to have that call answered when it matters most.
Last year our Liontown team raised more than $31,000 for the Oceans to Outback Challenge and took first place nationally. This year I am taking part again, and I would love your support. Every kilometre and every dollar helps the Flying Doctor keep saving lives in the places that need them most.
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
2
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
1
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
1
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
Here's how much Hayden has raised
to keep the Flying Doctor flying!
Hayden has raised a grand total of $1,748 over 2 years!
