I'm fundraising for the royal flying doctor service

Australia is a big country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isn’t a guarantee. For some communities, the nearest hospital is eight hours drive away. This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need. By going further, I hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS). Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes! Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work. Please donate to my challenge today!

Oceans to outback, here we go!

Saturday 27th Sep
There’s nothing quite like the feeling of starting the weekend with a run, some fresh air, and a reminder of what our bodies (and minds) can achieve with a little consistency and community support. With October fast approaching, I’m getting more and more excited for the Oceans to Outback challenge to officially kick off. It’s a great reason to stay active, explore the outdoors, and most importantly — raise money for a cause that matters. 💙 A huge thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, or cheered me on so far — your support means the world. This is a challenge I’m proud to be part of, and I can’t wait to see how far we can go together! 🏃‍♀️

Going strong 🌞 🌊 👟

Monday 22nd Sep
It’s been a little while since I’ve posted an update, but rest assured, I haven’t dropped the ball (or the steps)! Over the weekend, I swapped the usual routine for something a bit more scenic, soaking up the sunshine and putting in the steps with the family up in beautiful Noosa. What a gorgeous corner of Queensland. Between beach walks, fishing, and chasing the kids around, I definitely kept the Oceans to Outback challenge going strong. Sometimes the best motivation can be as simple as a change of scenery, and this one definitely delivered. Feeling recharged, refreshed, and ready to keep pushing forward for a great cause. Thanks again for all the support – every step is getting us closer. ☀️

Little feet, big skies 🧡

Sunday 31st Aug
Take me back to those days out west when the kids were little, full of wonder, and the days felt just a little slower. Dusty boots, sticky fingers, and endless questions about cows, clouds, and everything in between. Lazy days chasing each other around the yard, catching crayfish in the dam, and sitting on the verandah with ice blocks melting faster than they could eat. Time flies when your havin fun. 💛 #TakeMeBack #OutWestWithTheKids #OceansToOutback #CountryDays #LittleMomentsBigMemories

Sunday steps & wagging tails 🐾

Sunday 31st Aug
Snuck in a lovely 4km walk with the fellas this morning — the sun was out, the breeze was just right, and the dogs were loving every second of it. Hard to believe it’s already the end of August! Great way to start the day and get moving before our touch game. See next post for a throwback to when the kids and dogs were little in Roma. How time flies. Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend 💛 #OceansToOutback #WeekendVibes #DogWalksAndMates #SundayWellSpent

Morning steps and mini adventures before the bell goes

Wednesday 27th Aug
Some mornings feel like a race before the day even begins, but today with one of the kids already laced up and bouncing with early morning energy, we snuck in a quick walk/run before school drop off. Nothing too far or fancy. Just out the gate, down the track, and off to see what we could spot on our morning walk. And as it turns out, even twenty minutes of movement can become an adventure if you're looking at the world through the eyes of a child. We looked for fish in the creek and snuck in some sneaky squats. We ran a little, walked a little, and talked a lot. It was a lovely way to start to the day outside, together, and finish with a coffee/hot choccie. Sometimes “Oceans to Outback” feels like a big journey. But today, it was just a few steps — and a reminder that adventure is right outside the front door, if you’ve got the time (and a little one to lead the way). 🌞

Running for a cause – oceans to outback

Monday 25th Aug
Hi everyone! My name is Tiffany, I’m a wife and mum to three wonderful kids, and this October I’ve set myself a big personal challenge: to run 87km over the month in support of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) through the Oceans to Outback fundraiser. Having lived in a regional town and with family still out there, I understand how much communities rely on the RFDS. Their work is nothing short of life changing, providing critical medical care where it’s needed most, often hundreds of kilometres from the nearest hospital. So, I’ve laced up my runners and committed to the 87km challenge to help raise funds for this incredible service. I’ll be sharing updates along the way; the good runs, the tough days, and everything in between, and I’d love your support as I take this on. Every dollar raised goes towards keeping the RFDS in the air and making a difference to families in remote, rural and regional Australia. Thank you so much for following along and cheering me on - let’s do this together! Tiff x
