I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

Looking after each other is what being Australian is all about. 

Australia is a big country. From our cities to the most remote corners of the outback, every Australian deserves to know that help will be there when they need it most.

But for some Australians living in rural, regional and remote communities, the nearest hospital can be eight hours away.

That’s where the Royal Flying Doctor Service comes in. 

This October, I’m taking on a month long fitness challenge to help keep the Flying Doctor flying, because distance should never stand between someone and the care they need.

Every year, the RFDS reaches more than 330,000 Australians, providing emergency retrievals and essential healthcare across our vast country.

That’s one person every two minutes.

Behind every one of those people is a story. A family. A mate. A mum, dad, child, grandparent, neighbour or loved one who needed someone to come.

And that’s what this challenge means to me.

Going further for Australians who need a helping hand. 

Whether you live in the city, on the coast, in the bush or somewhere in between, we’re all part of the same community.

So this October, I’m asking you to get behind me and help me raise as much as possible for the RFDS.
