Robe Valley is fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

Australia is a vast country, and for those of us living in remote regions like Robe Valley in the Pilbara, access to immediate medical care is far from guaranteed. The nearest major hospitals are up to eight hours away by road, making emergency retrievals and primary healthcare services absolutely critical.

This October, Robe Valley is taking on a month-long fitness challenge to raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), a lifeline for communities like ours.

Every year, the RFDS reaches more than 330,000 Australians, providing 24-hour emergency retrievals, GP clinics, dental care, telehealth, and more. In Western Australia alone, the RFDS retrieves 28 people every single day, flying over 9 million kilometres annually.

RFDS continues to expand its services in WA, including the addition of a third Rio Tinto LifeFlight jet, ensuring faster response times and better access to care.

Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and ensure that people in remote communities continue to receive life-saving care when they need it most.

Please donate to Robe Valleys challenge today and help make a real difference.
