I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
Those who know me know that I am not a runner… but if anything could get me lacing up my sneakers, it’s the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
Over the past five years working in remote aerodromes in WA, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside RFDS. While working in Emergency Response on site, we regularly teamed up with RFDS to make sure anyone needing critical care got the help they needed, fast. I’ve seen firsthand the incredible skill, speed, and dedication they bring when lives are on the line. This year it became even more personal, when RFDS responded to a potentially life-saving callout for a loved one on site. That experience highlighted for me just how critical their service is, not only to the communities they serve, but also to the FIFO workforce and families across remote Australia.
That’s why I’m taking part in the Oceans to Outback Run/Walk this October – running (yes, actually running!) to raise funds for the Flying Doctor.
If you’d like to support me, and more importantly, support RFDS in keeping up their life-saving work, please consider making a donation. Every dollar helps keep this incredible service flying.
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...

2
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.

2
