I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
I am a final year medical student at the University of Queensland, currently completing my final rotations at Toowoomba Base Hospital where I will be interning next year.
As part of my placements, I was fortunate enough to get 2 weeks with the RFDS in Charleville, taking part in a mix of outreach clinics and emergency retrievals. I have seen the impact that the RFDS has on communities that would otherwise be without medical services. Without the RFDS, healthcare in rural and regional Queensland would not function.
I am excited to be a part of this fundraising challenge - any and all donations really do make a massive difference.
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
0
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
0
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
0
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
