I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Walking in gratitude for Leigh and the wings that saved him

On Christmas Eve 2017, my husband Leigh became fatally sick while we were away on holiday in Fiji. Unbeknown to us at the time, he had an aggressive, rare brain cancer and needed urgent brain surgery. The RFDS flew out to us on Christmas Day and evacuated us both back to Brisbane, where Leigh had life-saving brain surgery. If it wasn't for the RFDS, he would not have survived that day.

The RFDS provides a vital 24/7 lifeline to Australians, whether they are at home in remote areas or facing a medical crisis far away. Every step I take with Walker's Flying Footsteps will honour Leigh's memory and help fund the life-saving flights and medical care that gave us more precious time together.
My goal is to raise $1000 and I would love your support.
If you are able to chip in, please do so. Every single dollar makes a huge difference.
Thank you so much for cheering me on and supporting a service that means the world to me.
Kind regards
Mandi

Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!

Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work. Please donate to my challenge today!
