I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.
Donate now >>In true Jamie fashion late again but better than never
Hello guys and gals, me and the fugly fours are going all out to raise funds yet again for such a great cause. You may never need it yourself but so many have and if ever in the need you'll be greatful for them. The royal flying doctors are the unsung heroes of the sky's, outback runways and everywhere they can be. Personal goal this year is 87kms teams goal is 500kms 😵 we don't know if we can but we are giving it a read hot go baby!!!! This year we would like those who wish to donate to add the KMs they think or wish to see us achieve, little similar to the good old fun runs school used to do😋. If we don't achieve the amount within the month of October we will continue to post until it's achieved. So why not support a fabulous cause and have a bit of fun with it. Spread the good word and let's smash these goals!! 🎉I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
Australia is a big country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isn’t a guarantee. For some communities, the nearest hospital is eight hours drive away.
This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need. By going further, I hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!
Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work. Please donate to my challenge today!
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
3
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
2
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
2
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
Here's how much Jamie-lee has raised
to keep the Flying Doctor flying!
Jamie-lee has raised a grand total of $1,121 over 2 years!
