I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
This October, I’m running 87km to raise money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) — a service I’ve seen firsthand is absolutely vital.
As an Emergency Nurse, I’ve witnessed just how critical the RFDS is in bringing patients to us. They’re often the link between life and death for people in rural and remote areas, making sure those in time-critical situations get the urgent care they need.
Without the Flying Doctors, so many patients simply wouldn’t make it to the help they deserve. That’s why I’m pushing myself to run 87km this month with the support and contribution of my team partner Brian (who by far, has more will power for this distance running than myself!) To give back, raise awareness, and support the incredible work they do every single day.
Any donation, big or small, helps the RFDS continue saving lives and reaching people no matter how far away they are. Thank you for supporting me, and more importantly, supporting them.
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...

0
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.

0
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.

0
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
