Why I'm running
I'm running this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.
Donate now >>I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
Australia is a huge country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate medical care isn't always a guarantee. For some communities, the nearest hospital can be an eight hour drive away.
This cause has become especially close to my heart as my partner Jonah has returned to work in remote Western Australia. Knowing that he, along with so many others living and working in remote parts of the country, may one day rely on services like the Royal Flying Doctor Service has put the importance of their work into a much more personal perspective for me.
This October, I'm taking on a month long fitness challenge to help more Australians access the care they need, no matter where they live or work. I will be running 98km during the month and I hope to raise as much as possible for the RFDS.
Every year, the RFDS reaches more than 330,000 Australians through 24 hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That's one person every two minutes.
Any donation, big or small, would mean so much to me and help keep the Flying Doctor flying and support the incredible, life saving work they do across Australia. ❤️
Please consider donating to my challenge this October.
