We're fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

This October, the College of Science and Engineering at JCU is coming together for the second year to take on Oceans to Outback and raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS)!

Our College is made up of seven academic groups spanning an incredible diversity of disciplines – from marine biology to veterinary science, engineering and beyond. While our work might look very different, many of our staff and students study, work and undertake fieldwork across regional and remote Australia, where access to emergency healthcare can be a long way away.

Throughout October, teams from across our academic groups will be walking, running, riding and getting active – with a little friendly competition among the groups to see who can clock up the greatest distance and raise the most money!

Different disciplines, different teams, one shared goal: supporting each other while raising funds to help keep the Flying Doctor flying. 🌊✈️🏃‍♀️
