Why I'm running
I'm running this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.
Donate now >>Its Personal

Australia is a big country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isn’t a guarantee.
For me, it’s deeply personal. This year the RFDS flew my seven-day-old grandson to Perth for urgent meningitis treatment, and he has made a beautiful recovery.
They also flew my husband to Perth following a life-changing spinal injury, and later flew my father there for acute sepsis. All three are doing well thanks to access, to life-saving medical care, otherwise not available.
This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need. I hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work. Please donate to my challenge today!
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
3
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
2
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
2
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
