I’m walking to raise money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) because the work they do is incredibly important, especially for people living in rural and remote areas. For many Australians, access to medical care isn’t as simple as driving to the nearest hospital. The RFDS helps bring vital and sometimes lifesaving medical care to people who need it, no matter how far away they are. That’s why I’ve chosen to walk for this cause. Every step I take and every dollar raised helps support the incredible work of the RFDS and the communities who rely on them. I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

I’m taking part in this walk to raise money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) because I believe the work they do is incredibly important, especially here in the Northern Territory.

Living in such a remote and beautiful part of Australia has made me realise how easily we can take access to medical care for granted. For people living in remote communities, getting the medical attention they need can mean travelling huge distances — and sometimes, the RFDS is the difference between someone receiving urgent care and having to wait.

I’m walking to show my support for the incredible people who provide this lifesaving service, and to help raise funds so they can continue reaching those who need them most.

It’s a small way for me to make a difference. Every step I take and every dollar raised will go towards supporting the RFDS and the vital work they do across Australia.
