I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
👟 This October, I’m running for the Oceans to Outback Challenge to support the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
I grew up in regional Australia, and although I was fortunate to have a hospital not too far away, I appreciate for many rural residents this isn’t always just around the corner. Now, as a med student, I can see how vital the Flying Doctor is in bringing emergency care and everyday healthcare to people no matter where they live.
One day, I hope to practise medicine in the bush myself — but for now, I’m putting in the kilometres to help keep the Flying Doctor flying. Every step I run will make a difference to the 330,000 Australians the RFDS helps each year.
Your support means the world (and a little less soreness in my legs!). Please donate if you can and help me reach my goal. 💙✈️
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
0
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
0
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
0
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
