Why I'm walking
I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.

"When I first signed up for Oceans to Outback, I saw it as a meaningful personal fitness goal, but it quickly grew into something much bigger. Taking on the challenge day after day and connecting with friends, colleagues, and neighbours along the way completely shifted my perspective. Hearing people’s stories and seeing how deeply the Royal Flying Doctor Service touches lives right across regional Australia turned every kilometre into a real mission. What stayed with me most wasn’t just the total funds raised, but witnessing how every single contribution and small act of encouragement builds an incredible momentum. For me, Oceans to Outback became more than a fitness trek—it was a reminder of what we can achieve when a community rallies together to keep the Flying Doctor in the air for those who need it most."

Happy to back your challenge, Anand. 87 km for a cause this good — keeping the Flying Doctor reaching our rural communities — is well worth the effort. Best of luck in October, and go the distance! Govindaraju
