I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
This October, I’m taking part in the RFDS Oceans to Outback challenge. My goal is to cycle 247km and raise $550 in honour of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, who gave my family a gift we’ll never forget. When our mum was battling stage 4 small cell lung cancer, the RFDS made it possible for her to fly home from Perth to Kalgoorlie. Because of them, she was able to spend her final days in palliative care, surrounded by her family and the people who loved her most. I’ll be riding every kilometre with her in my heart, and every dollar raised will help the RFDS continue their life-changing work for families who need them, just like we did.
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...

5
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.

3
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.

3
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
