We're fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

We are the Work Health and Safety team at Liontown Limited. Our job is to look after the safety, health and wellbeing of everyone who works for the Company, from our Perth office to the field, so that every person goes home safe.

Most of our people work at the Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation in the Northern Goldfields of Western Australia, hundreds of kilometres from the nearest hospital. Keeping people safe out there, so far from help, is what we do every day. Our health and safety advisers, our site medical team and our emergency response team work side by side so that when something goes wrong, help is ready and close at hand. When a situation is beyond what we can manage on site, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is the team we call, and the difference they make is measured in lives.

We do not do this alone. We work closely with our mutual aid partners across the region, sharing resources, training and support so that everyone who lives and works out here is better protected. That spirit of looking after each other is exactly what the RFDS represents.

Last year, as part of the Liontown team, more than 80 of us walked, ran and cycled more than 8,800 kilometres and raised more than $31,000 for the Oceans to Outback Challenge, taking first place nationally. This year we are back, and we want to go further. Please support our team as we help the Flying Doctor keep saving lives in remote Australia.
