We're fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

Every day, our Garrison Health Partners come together with a shared purpose: caring for the health and wellbeing of Defence members and supporting them to remain fit to serve.

Whether you’re a doctor, nurse, dentist, physiotherapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, pharmacist, health administrator, receptionist, pathology provider, contractor or part of our support team, each of us contributes to that mission.

While we care for our people here at Randwick and Victoria Barracks, we also recognise that Defence members don’t always serve close to home. Across regional and remote Australia, dedicated healthcare professionals and organisations provide care to the communities where our members may be training, working or deployed.

This year, we’re coming together to support one of those organisations—the Royal Flying Doctor Service—through the Oceans to Outback Challenge.

This isn’t about who is the fastest or fittest. It’s about moving together, supporting one another, strengthening the connections within our workplace, and giving back to an organisation that helps deliver healthcare where it’s needed most.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be logging kilometres by walking, running, swimming, cycling—or however you like to move—while raising funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Everyone is welcome. Every kilometre counts. Every dollar makes a difference.

Let’s challenge ourselves, support each other, and show what Garrison Health Partners can achieve when we work together—both for the health of our own team and for the communities that help care for Australians beyond our gates.
