Kicking off october with purpose and a few dusty footsteps 💙👣

Kicking off october with purpose and a few dusty footsteps 💙👣 Posted by Tiffany, Wednesday 1st Today marks the start of my Oceans to Outback challenge for the Royal Flying Doctor Service, and I couldn’t think of a more fitting place to get my first kilometres on the board than right here in Western Queensland. Joined by a couple of the kids, we soaked in the beauty of the outback together – wide open skies, warm breeze, and that unmistakable feeling that you're running for something bigger than yourself. 🌾☀️ I’m incredibly proud to be supporting the life saving work of the RFDS, who show up for Australians no matter how remote or rugged the location. A huge thank you to all of my supporters so far – your encouragement means the world. 🙏 Keep an eye on this space as the journey continues. Every step counts.

Walking for Change, Running with Heart

As the Elders Ipswich Team, we walk and run with purpose — every step of our 87 km journey is a symbol of strength, unity, and growth. Together, we Elevate each other, Embrace the challenge, and Embody resilience. This journey is not just about distance, but about inspiring change, building community, and proving that with heart and determination, we can go further than we ever imagined.

Australia is a big country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isn’t a guarantee. For some communities, the nearest hospital is eight hours drive away.

This October, we're taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need. By going further, we hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).

Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!

Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work. Please donate to our challenge today!
