And so it begins……….

Friday 17th Jul The time of year has come to start thinking about my challenge in October. Every year I head out and try to walk as far as I can to raise awareness and funds for the RFDS. This year, I am hoping to achieve a minimum of 300km over the month. This total is on top of normal daily activity so I try to head out each morning first thing for 5km and then again in the evening for another 5km. To up the challenge a bit this year, I a planning to add a few longer walks (20km) into the month to help me achieve my goal of walking the Camino next year. watch this space for updates but please note that my actual challenge does not start until October 1st!
