Why I'm walking
I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.

I’m taking on the challenge of walking 42 km in one month to raise money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS)
Anyone who knows me knows how much I love and admire the work the RFDS does. As someone studying nursing, it’s an organisation I’ve always had so much respect for, and hopefully one day I’ll be lucky enough to work in a role where I can contribute to the incredible care they provide to people in rural and remote Australia.
This challenge is also a little personal for me. After having ACL surgery, getting back on my feet and rebuilding my strength has been a journey. I wanted to set myself a challenge that would push me physically, give me something to work towards, and remind me how far I’ve come in my recovery.
So, 42 km over one month — for a cause I genuinely care about and to challenge myself along the way.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help support the lifesaving work of the RFDS. If you’re able to donate or even share my fundraiser, I would be so incredibly grateful.
42 km. One month. One goal. One cause that means a lot to me.
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...

Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
3
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
3
