Why I'm walking
I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.

This October, as part of my recovery, I’m taking on the Oceans to Outback month-long fitness challenge to raise as much as I can for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
The RFDS is an organisation that has become really personal to me this year. After my brain surgery, the RFDS supported me with transport to a hospital closer to home so I could continue my recovery nearer to my family. Having that support when I needed it most meant so much to me, and gave me a very real understanding of just how important their services are.
For people living in rural, regional and remote Australia, access to healthcare can be incredibly difficult. The RFDS helps bridge that gap; providing essential medical care, health services and transport to people who may otherwise struggle to access the help they need.
I’ve now had the privilege of experiencing that support firsthand, and I’d love to give something back 💛
So throughout October, I’ll be getting active and challenging myself to help raise money for an organisation that does such an incredible job supporting Australians, no matter where they live.
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, it would mean so much to me and will help the RFDS continue the work they do every single day.
Thank you for supporting me and this very special cause. 💙✈️
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...

Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
3
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
3
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
