I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

Australia is a big country, and for us living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isn’t a guarantee. 

We know this first hand!! 

On the 18th November 2024 Heath was transferred via ambulance to Albany hospital (1.5hr drive) then flown from Albany hospital to Perth Childrens Hospital via the Royal Flying Doctor Service! What would have been a 4.5 hour drive was done in a 40min flight! After being messed around and dismissed from our local hospital, time was running out and cutting that time down and getting Heath straight into surgery was the difference between his continued recovery today and us loosing him. 

This October, We are taking on a month-long fitness challenge in hopes to help raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).

Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!
