Why I'm running
I'm running this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.

Hey 👋🏻
This October I’ll be participating in the Royal Flying Doctor Service Oceans to Outback, challenging myself to run 42km during the month of October to help more people access the care they need.
For Australians living in regional, rural and remote areas, access to immediate care is a guarantee, for some communities the nearest hospital is an 8 hour drive. Every year the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24 hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services (one person every two minutes).
Whilst I’ll be running to keep the flying doctor flying to continue their life saving work. Please donate to my challenge 😊
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
9
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
6
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
5
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.

You got this. 🫡
