Why I'm walking
I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.
Donate now >>I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
At the age of 6 I moved to live on a farm in the middle of nowhere.
Like many city kids that age, my biggest concern was that it was 2 and a half hours away from McDonald's of all things..
But that soon changed shortly after arriving,..
My dog was bitten and died from a snake bite.. Which then put my little brain into overdrive and so, the questions began.. What will happen if I get bitten, or one of my siblings? What do I do? Who do I call? Where is the closest hospital? Will I have enough time? What if someone dies?
Australia is a big country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isn’t a guarantee. For some communities, the nearest hospital is eight hours drive away..
So, this October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need.
Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work.
Please donate to my challenge today..
There are too many people loosing their lives as it is. If we can all work together and help where we can, we have the opportunity to raise enough money for more resources, more planes, more doctors, more help where its desperately needed.
if i can raise just enough money to make even the slightest difference, that will do me.
Don't you want to look up and see more of these amazing people up in the sky saving lives and know that with your kind generosity you made it happen...
Proud Aussie..
