❤️ Why I’m Fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) ❤️

In December 2025, my husband and I experienced a time in our lives that we will never forget. My husband urgently needed back surgery, and during one of the most stressful and frightening times for our family, the Royal Flying Doctor Service was there when we needed them most. ✈️❤️

The care they provided went above and beyond what was required. They didn’t just look after my husband; they looked after me, too. As his wife, I was overwhelmed with worry, but the RFDS team kept me calm, informed and reassured throughout such an uncertain time. Their compassion, kindness and dedication made a difficult situation that little bit easier to face.

When you’re in a situation like that, you realise just how important these incredible services are. They are there for people when they need help the most, often during some of the scariest moments of their lives.

That’s why I’m now raising funds to give something back to an organisation that gave so much to us when we needed it most. ❤️

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help support the amazing work the RFDS does for individuals, families and communities across Australia.
