Why I'm walking
I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.
Donate now >>I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
This October, I am stepping a little outside my comfort zone and taking on the Ocean to Outback challenge for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. My goal is to cover 166km and raise $1,000.
I rarely share personal things on social media, but this cause is very close to my heart. In 2023, we lost my Dad, and the RFDS helped get him to Perth when we needed it most. It’s a service that will always hold a special place in my heart.
For people living in rural and remote areas, access to urgent medical care isn’t always guaranteed. The RFDS reaches more than 330,000 Australians every year, providing vital emergency and healthcare services across our vast country.
This challenge is my small way of giving back and helping keep the Flying Doctor flying. If you’re able to donate, big or small, I’d be incredibly grateful. 🤍
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
6
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
4
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
3
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
