Why I'm walking

Guys I did a thing!

When i was growing up i could have well and truely not made it to 30 without these guys saving my life a few times.... and now I'm still here, a mum of 2 beautiful little boys... But they're just as mischievous as I was but with ceazy little boy energy, so im definitely glad these guys will be around when I take the boys home to country. 😅

So to say thank you, i've signed up to try and raise some money to help give back to The Royal Flying Docror for the amazing work they do everyday in rural and outback Australia. They truely do a phenomenal job of getting emergency help to people in some of the remote regions of Australia.

I've had my own fair share of trips from them growing up in remote NT and so have many family members, friends and family friends. If it wasn't for these guys and the help from rural clinics and community locals many of these situations would very much be life or death.

So anyway,
This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to do 100km to help more people access the care they need. By going further, I hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
(Victorian goldfields, Grampians and Ottways here i come!⛰️😍)

Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!

(Hopefully I'm not one of them on my trips 🙃)

In a country as big and sparsely populated as Australia its vital we work together to keep services like this readily available.

If you can at all, any donations will help towards my goal ❤️‍🩹

Thanks again guys!

I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

Australia is a big country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isn’t a guarantee. For some communities, the nearest hospital is eight hours drive away.
