I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.

day 3

Ok who has the bright idea of walking in Spring in Melbourne our equivalent of a wet season ? At least Ianages to finish prior to tge Park Run people who just stampede the whole track

Day 2

Not quite as far today but better weather and 2 little helpers (?) to walk with after watching a stage show of Frozen. At least it didn't rain whilst walking today . Thankyou once again for my donations. I'm blown away by the support. You guys have beaten my new target Should I be cheeky and raise it again?

Day 1

Well what a day for it....not. Id say singing in the rain but nobody needs that ! Note to self umbrella doesnt last with horizontal rain, Raincoat doesn't cover my butt but thanks to my Merry Boots at least my feet are dry. There were only 4 other idio...opps I mean intrepid souls on my lap so it was nice having the lake almost to myself .At least I'm only walking in the rain not doing what the RFDS have to do. Thank you to those who have donated I honestly didnt expect to get much so I've been a bit cheeky and raised my goal. Let's see if we can beat that one as well

I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

Australia is a big country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isn’t a guarantee. For some communities, the nearest hospital is eight hours drive away.

This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need. By going further, I hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).

Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!

Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work. Please donate to my challenge today!

So far this year
I’ve helped provide...

Life-saving medical chests image
