I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
Australia is a big country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isn’t a guarantee. For some communities, the nearest hospital is eight hours drive away.
This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need. By going further, I hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!
Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work. Please donate to my challenge today!

Day 1
Thursday 2nd Oct Completed 3.8 kms with my 4 year old alongside on her scooter. Was surprised she was able to go that far. Woke up to donations this morning after posting to Facebook late last night. Can’t wait to see what today brings. Share
My rfds story
Saturday 20th Sep Around 18 years ago I was riding my motorbike in the bushlands of Kalgoorlie and had a major accident. I hit a tree doing about 100 Km/h my friends that I was riding with called for help after seeing my injuries. I got flown to Perth on the RFDS in an induced coma where I slept for 2 weeks while I was worked on. My injuries were 22 fractures to my skull, broke both cheek bone, broke my nose and my right femur was split in 2. I thank the RFDS and Doctors that worked and helped me with out them I wouldn’t be here today that’s why I’m raising money to keep them flying. ShareThank you to my Sponsors
