Why I'm walking
I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.

This October, I’m walking 87km for the Oceans to Outback challenge to raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
We are now living on our remote property in South-West Queensland, where the nearest medical care can be a long way away. Out here, the RFDS isn’t just something you hear about — it’s a lifeline for families, station workers and communities across the bush.
Now that we’re raising our own little family here, there’s an even greater sense of comfort in knowing that if something goes wrong, help can still reach us, no matter how remote we are.
So throughout October, I’ll be clocking up 87km for the people who travel much further than that every day to bring healthcare to the bush.
If you’d like to support my challenge, any donation — big or small — would mean so much to me and help keep the Flying Doctor flying. ❤️
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
8
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
5
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
4
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
