I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

Hello everyone.

This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help raise money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS). In my case, this is going to be achieved over two weeks, as I’m heading in for an op on my foot so I can walk further next year!

Many of you may not know that my first job was with the RFDS, where I witnessed first-hand the amazing work that they do. Later, moving back to rural WA, I once again saw just how important the RFDS emergency services were needed and the multiple life-saving trips that the RFDS undertook from the small town of Bruce Rock.

To put it in context, every year the RFDS reaches more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!

The RFDS relies heavily on community support, so with your help, together we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work.
