Why I'm walking
I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.
Donate now >>I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
Australia is a big country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isn’t a guarantee. For some communities, the nearest hospital is eight hours drive away.
I’m fundraising in honour of my grandparents, who spent over 50 years living in Narooma. Growing up, I saw how much regional communities rely on the RFDS, not just in emergencies, but for everyday healthcare that many people simply can’t access close to home.
My pop has passed away, but his strength, kindness, and love for the South Coast stay with me every day. My nan now lives with me, and caring for her has made me even more aware of how vital accessible medical support is, especially for older Australians in rural areas.
The RFDS has always been a lifeline for families like mine. By supporting this fundraiser, you’re helping keep essential healthcare flying to the people who need it most.
Thank you for backing a cause that means so much to me and my family.
