Why I'm riding
I was off to Broome for a week to relax with my amazing parents, long story short it lasted 2 days with my parents being airlifted to Perth via RFDS. If that service wasn’t available I would have my best mate here today. My dad was diagnosed with AML given 10 days to 6 months. We are all so thankful for RFDS and the Cancer Foundation without these services it would turn a hard time into a living hell so thanks to all people that do things for others and help. God Bless

It was the end of June and I was off to Broome for a week to relax with my amazing parents, a long story short it lasted 2 days with my mum and dad airlifted by the RFDS from Broome to Perth with my father only being a few days out from death with AML. If it wasn’t for the RFDS there was a good chance I wouldn’t have my best mate with us today. SO This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need. By going further, I hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!
Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work. Please donate to my challenge today!
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
4
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
2
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
2
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
