We're fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

We’re Team Marine Biology & Aquaculture from the College of Science and Engineering at James Cook University! 🌊🐠

Our staff and students spend plenty of time working on, in and around the ocean – often undertaking fieldwork in remote parts of Queensland, a long way from major hospitals and emergency services. The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) plays an important role in keeping people living, working and travelling in these areas connected to critical care when they need it.

This October, we’re taking on Oceans to Outback together – walking, running, riding and getting active as part of the College of Science and Engineering challenge.

Our goal is to raise $1,500 for the RFDS while clocking up as many kilometres as we can (and, of course, enjoying a little friendly competition with the other CSE teams along the way!).
