Why I'm walking
I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.
Donate now >>I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
While driving from Sydney to Perth and travelling through outback NSW, I was struck by just how vast Australia is and how, for some people, medical help can be hundreds of kilometres away.
That’s when I truly understood the incredible importance of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
So, I’ve decided to do my little bit to help.
I’ve accepted the challenge of walking 90 km throughout October to raise funds for the RFDS.
90 km might seem like a long way, but it’s nothing compared with the distances some Australians travel to access medical care.
I’d be incredibly grateful for your support, whether it’s a donation, encouragement, or simply sharing my challenge.
Every kilometre. Every dollar. Every bit of support counts. 🙏❤️
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
16
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
10
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
9
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
