Why I'm walking
I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.
Donate now >>I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
Australia is a big country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to care isn’t a guarantee.
This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people get to access the care they need closer to home. I hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
The RFDS support my rural community through supporting valuable primary healthcare services. Speech therapy, women’s health clinics, dental care and eye care clinics - thank you!
Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their care and services into rural communities like mine!
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
7
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
4
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
4
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
