Why I'm walking
I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.

Living near the airport on remote Flinders Island I am amazed by the number of RFDS flights coming to the aid of us Islanders. In 2021 I was flown to Launie in King Air VH-LTQ. With the Doctors on Flinders and Dr. Brian Herman at LGH that flight saved my life. I was always keen to fly a King Air but never thought it would be this way. I will always support the RFDS.You can help to with a small donation to support my daily walks in October.
This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need. By going further, I hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!
Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work. Please donate to my challenge today!
