Why I'm walking

I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.

Every Step Counts – Fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

Australia is home to some of the most remote communities in the world. For people living far from major towns and hospitals, getting medical care can mean travelling hundreds of kilometres. That’s where the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) makes such an incredible difference.

This October, I’m taking on the Oceans to Outback challenge to push myself, get active and, most importantly, raise money for the RFDS.

I’m challenging myself to go further than I normally would, knowing that every step, kilometre and dollar raised can help support people who may be facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

The RFDS provides essential healthcare and emergency services to Australians across rural, regional and remote areas. Their work helps make sure that where someone lives doesn’t determine whether they can access the care they need.

I’d love for you to be part of my challenge. Every donation, big or small, will help support the RFDS and their life-saving work.

Together, we can make every kilometre count and help keep the Flying Doctor flying. ❤️

Thank you for supporting my challenge!
