I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
Hello, my name is Katelyn Hutley and I am an 18 year old passionate runner who also happens to be studying to become a registered nurse! Helping people has always been a passion of mine whether it is something as simple as helping someone put their groceries inside their car for them or whether it is saving someone’s life.
The Royal Flying Doctors Service can save countless lives with the help of others. Living rurally can be extremely hard and isolating at times on people and can have a massive impact on their overall wellbeing and mental health.
The RFDS is saving lives, supporting people and bringing lives into this world every single day but they need our support and help which is why I am raising $200 and running 42km to help them get the resources they need to help those living rurally!
Please donate anything you can to help support these amazing people, who knows one day I could be working for the RFDS!
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
1
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
1
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
1
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
