Why I'm walking
I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.

1. My mother was plucked from school to be the first radio girl for the first FDS at Broken Hill during WW2, later also stationed in the Sydney office.
2. As we travel the outback, every time we pass emergency landing strip markings on an outback road, we acknowledge the work the RFDS do.
3. Recently spent an evening under the flightpath of an RFDS Kingair doing essential night training at Cobar. On a moonless night, low circuits and landings - and FAST! It was inspiring.
4. A friend is doing the challenge too - she'll be one of the top achievers for sure!
So far this year
