Why I'm running
I'm running this October to show my support for the RFDS and the incredible work they do.
Donate now >>I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
I have a huge appreciation for the people and organisations that make it possible to deliver care when and where it’s needed most.
Australia is a massive country, and providing healthcare across such a vast and remote landscape is no small task. The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) bridges that distance every day, delivering emergency retrievals, primary healthcare and vital services to rural and remote communities across the country. Behind that is an incredible team of healthcare professionals, pilots, crews and support staff working in all kinds of environments, often putting the needs of others before their own.
So this October, I’m participating in the Oceans to Outback challenge to raise money for an organisation and a team of people I have a huge amount of respect for.
I’ll be clocking up the kilometres throughout the month — a small way to challenge myself, contribute to a great cause and support the work that keeps healthcare within reach for so many Australians.
Any donation, big or small, would genuinely mean a lot.
Here’s to doing a few kilometres for the people who go thousands.
So far this year
