🩵💙 This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) 💙🩵
With more than 2,000 landing strips in the RFDS network across Australia, the RFDS aeromedical retrieval team is always ready to respond when emergency strikes. This includes emergency evacuations for people who are seriously ill or injured and require urgent medical attention as well as transport of patients between hospitals.
All aircraft are staffed with a pilot, flight nurse and a medical officer if required. The aircraft are fully pressurised and configured to resemble mini-intensive care units. They are fitted with a stretcher loading system that is fully compatible with road ambulance systems.
Please support my fundraising efforts today to ensure the RFDS can continue to deliver emergency aeromedical care to those who need it the most.
