Why I'm riding
I'm fundraising so that all Australians are able to access essential health care when needed.

Raising funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service is something that means a lot to me, because I will be forever grateful for the care and help they provided Ziggy when he needed it most, and for the kindness and empathy they showed towards me as a new, terrified mum.
When Ziggy was only a few months old, he experienced a bowel intussusception. It was, without a doubt, one of the most frightening days of my life, and even now, thinking back on it can still bring me to tears.
I will never forget my beautiful baby’s pale little face, his screams, and the terrifying moment his tiny body went completely limp in my arms as we raced him to hospital. It’s a moment I wish no parent ever had to experience.
We were incredibly lucky to have access to the care he needed, when he needed it. And today, that tiny, fragile baby is a big, strong, healthy, happy boy.
I’ve been taking my health a little more seriously over the last few months, and supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service is my small way of giving back to an organisation that was there for us when we needed them most.
If you’re going to donate to anyone this year, the RFDS is more than deserving.
So wish me luck as I jump on my stationary bike and attempt to cycle my way towards my goal of 247 kilometres... Why 247? Because the RFDS is there for us 24/7. ✈️❤️
