Why I'm walking
I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.
Donate now >>Im walking 100km for THE ROYAL FLYING DOCTOR SERVICE This October
Living and working in rural & remote NSW, I see first hand just how important the Flying Doctor is. This is a cause close to my heart with an RFDS medical centre in my hometown that I both attend and work alongside as an Occupational Therapist. When the nearest major medical care can be hours away, knowing the RFDS is there and ready to deliver quality care means more than words.
With such a great local young man like Dollar for Dusty as inspiration how could I not do my extra bit for rural health too.
For individuals & families living rurally and remotely, the Royal Flying Doctor Service provides much more than emergency flights. RFDS also delivers primary healthcare, mental health support, dental services and specialist healthcare to communities where accessing these services can otherwise mean travelling huge and possibly unachievable distances.
Every year, 330,000 Australians assisted with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!
Together let’s make a difference! Please Donate!! ✈️
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
6
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
4
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
3
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.

You’re a legend!! Well done Hannah 😊
