I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
This October, I’m walking 97 kilometres for the Royal Flying Doctor Service’s Ocean to Outback challenge.
Growing up on a cattle station, I know how different life can be when you live a long way from hospitals, doctors and services that many Australians can access within minutes. In the bush, help isn’t always just around the corner — and that’s why the work of the RFDS means so much.
Accidents have taught me something I don’t want to take for granted: move your body while you can, help people while you can, and appreciate the health that allows you to do it.
I’m walking these 97 kilometres for the people who need help, particularly those living in rural and remote Australia who may be hours away from the care they need.
I truly believe that kindness is a currency. Even a small act can make a difference in somebody else’s life. So this October, I want to use what I can do — simply putting one foot in front of the other — to help someone who might desperately need the Flying Doctor one day.
Australia is a huge country, but distance shouldn’t determine whether someone can receive lifesaving care.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how much, I would be incredibly grateful. Every kilometre I walk and every dollar raised is for the people who need it most. 🤍
97 kilometres. One month. One very worthwhile reason to keep moving.
Such a vital service! Go grace 👏
