Why I'm walking
I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.

42km for the Royal Flying Doctor Service ❤️
This October, I’m taking on a challenge that is a little more meaningful to me than simply walking 42 kilometres.
I’m walking to raise money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) — an organisation that plays such an important role in the lives of people living in rural and remote Australia.
I live in Brewarrina, NSW, and here, we understand just how important access to healthcare can be when you live a long way from major hospitals and specialist services. For many people in our community and surrounding areas, the RFDS can quite literally be a lifeline.
Living in the bush means that distance can make a huge difference when someone is sick, injured or in need of urgent medical care. The RFDS helps bridge that distance. They bring essential healthcare to people who might otherwise struggle to access it, and when the situation is serious, their aircraft can make the difference between being hours away from help and getting the care you need.
That is why I’ve decided to put my feet to work this October.
42 kilometres. One big walk. One very important cause.
I’m hoping to raise as much as I can, and I’d absolutely love your support.
Whether you can donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can afford, every donation will help support the incredible work of the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
And if you can’t donate, sharing my fundraising page is appreciated. ❤️
I’ll be walking 42km this October for the people of the bush — and for an organisation that helps make sure that living remotely doesn’t mean being without access to essential healthcare.
Thank you for supporting me, and more importantly, thank you for supporting the RFDS.
