Why I'm walking
I'm walking this October to save lives and help more Australians access essential healthcare.

In the past 7 weeks I've had the privilege of walking in the footsteps of tens of thousands of australian men, so many from rural and remote Australia who lost their lives on the battlefield of France during world WW1 and WW2. Men who never got to fall in love, raise their families, return home to the country they loved -Australia. So many of them were from towns in Australia that generations after their sacrifice rely on the Royal Flying Doctors Service (RFDS) for basic and complex healthcare.
I've travelled over 1400km on foot following in their footsteps so far. From the beaches of Utah to small family farms in the middle of France. As I continue following their journey and look forward to returning home to Australia, I am finishing these final steps in France this October raising money for the RFDS and will keep walking in Australia to raise funds in honour of the men who walked for thousands of kilometres to help and protect others.
Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and care. Anything can do to help them is a privilege.
I will post my overseas and australian based walking endeavour updates here, but you can also see the full story of my walking here https://www.instagram.com/p/Dd74LpnE15C/?stkn=MWpqMnQ3N3R2Z202cw==
